Finance, Legal, Audit and Insurance Committee
Meets the 3rd Tuesday of each Month at 7:00 p.m.
Shall have charge of all matters pertaining to the financial condition of the City, shall audit and examine the City Treasurer’s report, shall receive estimates from other committees for annual appropriations, shall supervise the preparation of the Annual Appropriation Ordinance. Said committee shall also have upon the close of each fiscal year, the accounts of all officers and employees of said City examined compared, and audited by some certified public accountant. Said Committee shall also be responsible, in the first instance, for the consideration of all legal matters relating to the City and for making of recommendations of actions to be taken by said Council upon said legal matters. Said committee shall also kept the Council advised on the insurance that is carried by said City and make recommendations as to insurance to be carried by said City.
